    I've had several bimini's. Everything that's been said is good advice so far. (Tall enough but not too tall, big as you can fit on the boat, metal fittings, sunbrella fabric, etc.
    I would add metal poles on both ends instead of straps to make it more rigid and square tubing over round for the same reason.
    My current boat isn't a toon, but if it were I'd employ this advice.
