    Default What is this?

Disconnecting my wires and cables to remove the motor from boat. And I have this one wire that attaches to the back of the out board between the 3rd and forth spark. I assume it's a temp sensor but I'm not sure which portion to disconnect. I removed the front screw but it didnt help.

Any advice would be appreciated Name: 20200701_155642.jpg

A spark plug with a very dirty boot. The boot just pulls off so you can get to it.

Bill, he's talking about the wire connected to the motor block "below" the spark plug boot.

Ok, did you try taking #2 loose inner nut or outer nut. From what I can see I’d try taking the bolt #1 out. Sorry for bad drawing.

Oh well. I'll call that the temperature sensor then.

That's a water pressure line with a crimp fitting.
    I'd rather be fishing.

If the fitting is seized, you can cut the tubing and reconnect it later with a coupler fitting
