    Default How to build a 'lift assist for old terova?


    Always wanted a terova trolling motor, now that one is on my tracker find that i can't lift it and wonder what
    can be made to lift it high enough to stow. any help would be greatly appreciated.--shu

    What about a pull handle hooked to the shaft of the motor. That way you can push the toggle with your foot and pull the motor up and over the balance point? I have the same motor on my boat. I will look and see if that would make it easier.

    Thank you, Thank you. Took the pull rope from parts motor and tied it to the height adjust knob bolt and was able to lift the motor fine, now the carbs and it will be FISHIN TIME, Thanks again--shu

    E-Z Poleholder on the MS board makes a handle you can clamp on it....they work great.
    I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
