Good idea and results. You might consider some non-skid application to lessen a chance of fall when wet.
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.

It was a quick way to make a step without altering the boat trailer.

I was thinking anti skid tape or possibly bed liner paint. It was a rough draft to see it it would work as needed before I added anymore money to the project

If you step on the trailer tongue, in the process of getting to the step, the non-slip would help there also.

Being that the launches I use the truck tires are at the waters edge. It is a pretty good cl8mb thrpugh the bed of the truck to the trailer tongue

Mine has to be too far back to get to the tongue without boots, so I let down my tailgate and step over in the back of the truck, on the tailgate and on to the boat. Do the reverse when I load. I know at 70 there will be a day when I can't climb over into the bed but for now it works good.
