When that day hits, get a tongue or hitch extension. Will be money well spent !

Dockshootinjack - good idea to wait till you use it a few times, before spending more money on it.

Stepladder I welded to mine was one of the best additions I made. A lot safer.

It is easier to climb in the boat an let someone back you in.

I fish 99% of the time. A self latching latch is one of the best things I ever bought for a boat.

I have a 25’ rope for launching but recovery is different. Thinking of the steps I see on some of the bass boat trailers. Not getting any younger myself.

On my boat it usually has to be reversed off the trailer to launch. I have tried to push the boat off the trailer unsuccessfully.

3 steps and I am in or out of the boat...hand rail too....no altering of trailer...4 bolts and a plate hold it all on. and no...I did not make it, I ordered it online. It works great.Name: 20200421_091317.jpg

That is a good looking set of steps G. I enjoy welding and fabrication and I have a few welding machines that need cranked and ran.
