    Default 3 Bank Battery Charger

My question is I currently have two trolling batteries hooked parallel for a 12 volt trolling motor. I have one bank of the charger to each of those batteries and one to the cranking battery. If I add a 4th battery designated for electronics, can I use one bank for the trolling batteries since they are parallel and hook one positive to one and the ground to the other and use the 3rd bank for the electronics battery or will I have to go to a 4 bank charger for that battery.

    Thanks in advance.

Yes you can, I have same set up for my trolling motor. 2 bank charger one set to trolling batteries and one to crank battery so you would just run third to aux battery. May take a little longer to top off trolling batteries but not that much longer.

I would run the cranking and electronics battery on one bank, and leave the trolling batteries on the other two. They will see the most discharge and it's better for them to be topped up quickly.

Unless you do very little running, the cranking battery should not need much of a charge, if any, leaving most of the charger's capacity to the electronics battery.

This is the same method I use with a dual SAE quick connect plug attached to starting and accessory battery. They share the same bank in the off season, both are AGM.
