    Default Terrova spot lock problems

My terrova on spotlock will turn around one direction and almost pull the wires out of the head, instead of turning different directions to keep on spot. If I’m not constantly staying on the button I think it would “choke itself to death”. Any other folks had this problem if so is there a solution.?

Mine does it almost every time I’m using it. Spins only one direction until the wires are strained close to snapping.

Mine will only go a few turns and then will unwind itself it seems. Mine is a gen 2 i believe.

    Maybe recalibrate it would help.

I have a 1st gen. It also wraps the cables, but can sense the extra drag, unwinds, and cancels spot lock. Annoying.

Seems like a common complaint with the older ones. I haven't found a solution.

Mine usually does it when I walk around in the boat, causing it to overshoot and correct.
