Charging my batteries

Is it safe to plug my triple bank charger into my generator? It's a plane Jane generator. Thinking about dropping off the grid for a bit.

I wouldn't chance it, those chargers aren't cheap. An inverter generator may be safe, not sure on that one though either, any digital devices usually don't play nice with generators.

Could always run a stout buzzbox charger on all three batteries in parallel if you need to top them up. A generator won't bother them.

Is a buzzbox the same as an analog battery charger

Won't hurt it a bit. I run my entire house off my gen when we loose power. Never a problem.
