I just put new tires on my trailer and found the Ranger factory manual calls for 75-85 ft lbs. Whoever tightened them last had them WAAAY past 100. It took a 24” breaker bar and cheater pipe to get the nuts off the rear axle.

Practice loosening/tightening them in the driveway to be sure you have the right tool for the job on the side of the road. I need a 3” extension and a deep well socket on a breaker bar/ratchet to be able to engage the lug nuts due to the stud length and wheel design on my particular trailer.
