    Default Trolling motor bracket


    I have a trolling motor question? I have a minn kota maxxum that has quit working. But I have found a minn kota Edge. That doesn't have the braket. My question is will the Edge fit in my maxxum bracket?

    Call these folks in the morning. They are great about helping out. On here your going to get a bunch of guesses and maybes. Might be someone here who has actually tried that swap but they might not see your post. My guess would be no because I think they have 2 different shaft collar sizes but not sure. So call these guys.

    It will work but..... You'll have to remove the upper housing and completely disconnect all wiring and cables to allow the old to be pulled out of the maxxum breakaway collar and the edge to be installed.
