    Default 2008 75 Opti

At 70% throttle about 4500rpm I noticed my engine sound was changing. It was really slight but it was there. Asked my son who can hear better than me and he also heard it. No other feedback present as in rpm change or boat speed changing.

First plan is to change filter and readjust and tighten all fuel line terminations.

Anything I'm missing. It's cold out.

I think I would check this area for a leak in these air hoses and that muffler. I have read about some of these opti motors having a air filter that would collapse. I can’t seem to find I’d listed for your motor so don’t know if you have it or not. But would sure check.

If this will open for you go to page 89 and it shows the air filter. This is entire Manuel.

Not sure of your 75 Opti but my Opti V6 they recommend changing water pump at the max of every 2 years.
does your 75 have the onboard fuel water separator, check fuel lines running to the motor for flaking inside. Just a few thoughts.

I don't have a seperator. Fuel lines are E10 approved and I run non ethanol

I went back and re-read your post and yes it does have filter the red cap with lugs. I mis understood and thinking inline seperator.

I have found most Sierra parts to be equal quality of OEM parts.
