I appreciate all the input. I am dropping prop off at shop tomorrow. Although I don't post often I do lurk here quite a bit. Will be giving the bass fishing up for the year soon, then onto the crappie.

Maybe I can contribute a bit more if the crappie on Douglas Lake cooperative.

Thanks for the input. Dropping it off at prop shop in morning. Don't post much but I do hang out here a lot. It's a good site and the wealth of knowledge is appreciated.

https://www.crappie.com/crappie/arka...ropeller-help/ I had this problem as well. Sent my prop to Port City in Ft Smith. Here is the link to that thread. Hope this helps.

Could also be that there is something hanging on the bottom of the hull that is causing the prop to ventilate, or there is an issue with the trim on the motor, although I suspect you would notice if it was not trimming down all the way.

Had that problem a few months ago, was running into a heavy chop and had the motor trimmed way up, when I turned to go with the waves, the prop immediately blew out at anything more than idle speed. Took me a few minutes to figure it out, but as soon as I trimmed down it went back to normal.

We send props to general propeller in FL., nibrel and ss . they weld and polish and balanced, looks like new. Aluminum props. we just replace, but they can repair them like new. The nibrel props. we send are replacement cost $800.00-$1400.00, they refurbish them for $125.00-$250.00 , outstanding customer service. We save customers $100.00's of $. Now you do have shipping cost.

Got the prop back from shop. Worked great with new hub pressed in. Runs as good or better than ever. Thanks to all who offered some input, it was appreciated.
