    Anybody know where I can find one of these. Itís a ribbon for the screen in a 1199 core unit. Or does anybody have a junk core unit they would like to sale thanks Mike Name:  IMG_1291.jpg

    Mike I can’t help you with that, but I bet if you found a computer repair place they could build you one.

    They are called ferrite cores. Amazon has a ton of them. Many other places have them also

    I don't know it a computer store will have them large enough to go around that many wires but it is worth a try. An electronics supply house should have them. Somewhere that deals in Industrial automation and robotics wouod have them also.

    How do I measure them is it across the hole plug. Iíve never bought anything like this. Thanks

    Not really sure. Measurement specs are more than likely metric. Might be a part number on the one you have

    Talk to Ricky ( rnvinc ) Looking at the picture looks like all you need is either that plug at bottom of the pic put back on the wires at the other end of wire harness....or a new plug put on.

    Yes sir G. I talked to him last night. The wires are so small I canít solder it he is going to look in his parts bin and see if he might have one. Iím thinking any of the ones out of the older core units will work.

    My apologies I did not see you had a broken wire. I thought you were asking about a ferrite core / choke.
