My boat came from the factory with a similar coating .....I like it.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Only complaint I've heard is that it is hot in the summer. I don't go barefoot anywhere, especially where there are fishhooks and knives involved, so that would not bother me.

It’s extremely hot in the summer.

Get hydroturff and you’ll be happy

Mine is going to have to be replaced before long and I’m not going back with carpet for sure! I have been looking and have decided to go with the DURABEK it comes in several colors so I figured that a lighter color wouldn’t get as hot !

I looked at a boat at a local boatshow and it was about 10am and I couldn't lay my hand on the deck because of the heat. The color was like a beige.

100% agree. I’ve had both in duck boats. The non skid is miserable hot in the summer. I’ve had hydroturf in the last 2 boats I’ve had and it’s the only way to go IMO. Warmer on your feet when it’s cold and you can walk around barefoot during the summertime in the heat. Quieter too.

I used that in one of my boats and loved it works great and its not hard on your bare feet in the heat of summer !!!! and in cold and wet weather the deck was never slippery !!!! I will look thru my pictures and see if I have the boat to show what it looked like installed !!!

I would do EVA foam before I ever used that stuff. Sea Dek, Hydro Turf, etc. is hard to beat, especially if you like fishing barefoot in the summer.
