    Now at 6.36 and 6.42

    Fully charged 6v should be somewhere around 6.6. That number is not all that important though and seems to vary between batteries.

    I would load test them real quick with something like this. Most parts stores do it for free if you don't want to buy the tool, but they're pretty handy. A load test is the only way to accurately check battery capacity.

    I think you either have a bad battery or one that isn’t charged. My guess is the one NOT bubbling is bad.

    I reversed the leads on the 2 6v batteries.
    Both bubbled

    Load test next
