    I would not charge them in parallel, keep them separate until you get it figured out.

    Batteries rested over night
    Now at 6.36 and 6.42

    Fully charged 6v should be somewhere around 6.6. That number is not all that important though and seems to vary between batteries.

    I would load test them real quick with something like this. Most parts stores do it for free if you don't want to buy the tool, but they're pretty handy. A load test is the only way to accurately check battery capacity.

    I think you either have a bad battery or one that isnít charged. My guess is the one NOT bubbling is bad.

    I reversed the leads on the 2 6v batteries.
    Both bubbled
