Is it the little pin at top left without a number?

I bought a 2000 40 Mercury outboard 40ELPTO which had engine problems for spare parts. I want to remove the Hydraulic Assist cylinder from the transom mount assembly. The bottom pin is easy enough but I don't know how to remove the top pin. It is cross pinned somehow and I don't know how to remove the locking pin or screw, the head of it is flat and smooth. How do I do it?

Yes, pin in the upper left of the diagram. I can't see the back side because of the pivot pin.
Without seeing the motor, it appears from the different diagrams you are going to have to remove the tilt tube, then remove the anchor pin at bottom of trim cylinder. Then rock bottom of cylinder forward so you can tap that pin out with a punch.
