    Prayer Request Trolling motor age??

    Hello fellas,
I just purchased an older Motorguide Trolling Motor and I can't find any way to determine it's age.
motorguide.com is no help, neither is yahoo, bing or amazon..

I have all the right numbers, serial, model, etc.. I would like to see if I got a good deal or should I just use it for a 2nd anchor?

    Any help?? Thanks in advance.

    Picture ??

Didn't the seller state what year it was, or at least what year he bought it (if he bought it new).
And what model & # thrust & voltage is it ??

You can look at my Motorguide 42lb thrust 12V trolling motor in this picture :

    (but, you'd never know it's a 1999 model looking at it )

What year is the boat it came from ??? That would give you an indication of how old it possibly could be.

Everything I've looked at indicates the motor could sell for anywhere between $100 & $400 ... but, most of those were 8-10 year old sales ads. And like anything else, what it sells for in Ohio could be lots of $$$ different if sold in Tenn, Fla, Texas, etc.
