    No. The port is cross drilled in the bottom of the carb
    I'd rather be fishing.

    Its fairly rare but floats can develop pin holes and get fuel inside of them and cause that problem.

    I did as suggested in post #6. Also checked the float for fuel in it, it was good. Put back together, no leak! Was going to try starting tonight, storms rolled in. I'm off tomorrow, will try it then.
    I also replaced the water jacket gasket, curious as to how that goes.

    Got it started this morning. Had one bolt loose, tightened that, all good. Thanks to all for the help !
