Think I’d try a 20 first. Normal trailer lights shouldn’t pull more than that. Maybe if you had a big camper with lots of lights but not a boat trailer. If you blow the 20 start checking for shorts.
My trailer lights fuse on my truck went out. It's a bussman 25 amp fuse. Auto zone and O'reily do not have a 25. Will I be ok go to with a 30amp or should I keep looking?

The fuse he needs is a spade type and that particular fuse is a quick blow fuse.

Post a picture of the blown fuse with a dime beside it to relate the size. I'll help you identify it.

Oh, I forgot to say..... don't use the 30. if there's a short you could melt the wiring, overheat the switch, burn the relay (if equipped), etc.

There’s only two form factors for that spade fuse. Either regular or mini. I’d just buy a multi pack of both them you have them.
And yeah don’t use too big of a fuse or you could damage the wiring

Just as I was thinking. The parts stores have 25A fuses for all the modern stuff. Your truck is a little more "classic". I've still got some of those in my bins. Let me see if I've got some 25's.
