Default Powerdrive V2 foot pedal "possessed"

This was used in Florida for two weeks fishing salt water, no issues. This week we were fishing fresh water and got rained on, no real soaker but hard enough to get everything good and wet. Over night the trolling motor turned itself on and when we had it on the lake the next day the motor wouldn't turn off and wanted to spin left continuously. It's just over a year old so don't really want to take it apart. What are our options. E mail has been sent to Minn Kota.

    Man, hate that.
Personally, I would wait to hear from Minn Kota before doing an upper or lower GI on it.
