    Default Trolling motor power

Due to corrosion i had to change the socket in the front of the boat. I have an 88 Bumble Bee bass boat. While doing this, i touched one of the big wires with a ground and it arced and i now have 24 volts on the socket but it doesn’t turn the TM. I’m no electrician and don’t know the system. There are a #6 and a #10 or so coming from. The wire that arced and i have no clue what the #10 goes to, cant follow it far enough. Does anyone know these systems and can help me out? Please? Thanks in advance.

I don’t use the charge side of this panel and i’m About to go use one of the existing wires to be a dedicated 24v wire after adding a jumper in the back for it.

Got on the phone with Cray and figured it out. When I touched the other wire and it arced it must have killed the circuit breaker. It let enough power through to make the meter read the right voltage but that was all. Bypassed the breaker and it went back to business. All set now and ready to get a few tomorrow if all goes well. 88

I would replace that breaker...by passing is ok for a test but would want the protection of a circuit breaker for use.
