    you might not, UNTIL the Thermostat OPENS. some motors are that way, I think, not real sure on that so check it out.

    Put it in a barrel and she is working good now. Thanks everyone for the help...best site on the internet!

    On those motors you have to put them in a barrel or the pump won’t prime for some reason. Same way on the4 stroke.
