x2 on etrailer. I solder the connections and use shrink tubes.

A tip on soldering the wires, put a little soldering flux on the wires and the solder will stick way better.

Harbor Freight sells the square LED lights separate for 14.99 each either left or right light. Since most lights are now coming out of China many may very well be coming out the same factory and are packaged under different brands by different companies and sold at different price points even though the product may be the exact same as another brand being sold either for a higher or cheaper price.

I have found the best thing I have done is raised my boat trailer lights up where they never are submerged and the wiring connections are not ever underwater or exposed to the weather either. That along with running a dedicated ground wire to each light has eliminated all trailer light problems for me and I wish I had of started doing it long before I did.

I mounted my lights near the top of the loading boat guide on the rear of the trailer. They don't get in the water when loading. I used a 3.5" (approx) square galvanized cover for a house wiring junction box for a adapter to bolt the light to and it to the guide post. They were less than a dollar at the hardware store. The lights don't get smashed either.

If you can’t find the led stuff you need, check in a truck stop. They use all of that all the time. Not the cheapest but they have it more often than not.

We got some new samples in the other day from our light supplier that have reverse lights (4 LED's) built in to the turn/tail light. I'm gonna have to try those out.
