Lighting Issue On Chevy Truck to Trailer

I have no brake light or right turn signal on my trailer. Problem is in truck as no power coming from the truck itself to the plug. I have tail lights on both sides. The truck has its lights working but not to the trailer harness. Fuses have been checked all good.

Has anyone encountered this problem and if so what did you do to fix it?

Check the other fuse box thats under the hood...big black box....take the cover off...it has individual fuses in it for each individual trailer light.

Found the problem. Fuses good under the hood but the one in the cab had a 10 amp fuse blown. Replaced it and I am now lit up like a Christmas Tree.

Probably a good thing for all of us to do is study the fuse layout for our trailer lights. I had a trailer light issue and found the fuse you had blown. Mine was ok, but one of my wires had worn through on the trailer. They make a trailer light tester that plugs into your truck plug that lights up to show if you have power to the trailer. They also make a harness that adapts the big round plug to the flat plug that has the tester built in. Sometimes at WalMart, also at etrailer.(if you use etrailer's free shipping, it is poney express takes at least a week).
