I put mine on a switch which is on the winch stand off, kind of a pain at times but I also put a spot off the winch stand off for loading as some ramps I use there are no lights around. When the switch is on I can see the complete trailer for backing in at these unlit ramps.

Well dang, I wasn't trying to sell someone something. My bad. I was just trying to explain what a cool and easy-to-install backup light it was. I have no affiliation with that product or any company that sells them. Sorry!

Great idea!
My driveway is long and dark plus I launch at one boat ramp with no lighting whatsoever. Needed some auxiliary lighting on my trailer. Added these 2 LED pods to my trailer guide posts last weekend. They are pretty bright. Haven't tried them yet. Wired them into the trailer lights and installed a separated switch that operates both of them. Don't need them to come one with the truck reverse lights. Just thought I would share with you all.

I’ve got an led cube mounted to my breakaway plate(looks about the same as a jack plate) on my motor. It’s rigged to a switch inside the boat so that I can turn it on and off as needed. It’s great for backing down dark ramps. I’ll try and get a picture tomorrow.
