Like others have said you will most likely need some reinforcement under there to stiffen it up. That eye was probably installed with a small square of plywood under there. One thing about that plastic. It shrinks over time and gets brittle with age and being exposed to sun light.

The boat is a 97 or 98. It’s free, got a old sonar a old trolling motor and a 15hp mercury. So is the boat itself worth the time? Or do you think the plastic is too risky to take out on the water

Personally if that is the only crack you have and it has not started to seperate at the seams. I would invest the time and what little expense you will have and repair and use. Wouldn't be afraid of it at all.

Awesome thanks for the input. If it wouldn’t hold up to the 15hp outboard I was gonna put a big thrust troll on it and just not get on the main lake and hit docks and piles no farther than a point of where I put in

If you make the repair -- Drill small holes at the end of the Crack and that stops the crack from getting longer Like said already Auto Body materials that repair Flexable Bumpers will seal the Crack but the inside behind the Crack has got to be addressed before the Crack is sealed
