    Default 2002 Johnson/Suzuki 70 hp 4 stroke

Engine runs perfect, no alarms, overheating etc even when letting sit idle for 20 minutes with muffs on.. but there is no water coming from pee hole other then a tiny dribble, tried running weed eater line up in hole but nothing has helped, engine stays cool to the touch everywhere some I'm assuming water is circulating thru cooling jacket just not coming out pee hole..
How far should weed eater line be able to Go up into hole, it only goes in a couple inches and hits something hard, when I look up in it with light all I can see is something grainy looking like a stone or maybe the end of a piece of tubing.

On my 50 hp Merc 2 stroke I could remove engine cover and get to pee hole hose and unclogged with small wire cant do it with this one.
Want to take in get impellor replaced(previous owner said it was replaced a year ago) but only 2 shops around are backed up anywhere from 3-6 weeks or more.
Thanks Pondfisher42 thanked you for this post

That happened on my Yamaha...I took a piece of bailing wire and kept jabbing the hard spot...it finally broke loose...was hard compacted sand.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

that may be what this is, can only get up in holeith weed eater string maybe 2 inches if that, it does kinda look like sand..shouldn't it just be a rubber hose all the way out to pee hole.

Dirt dobber has stopped ur your hose ! take a stiff piece of bailing wire like G used slowly twisting it as u push .it should break loose.

I just went out and took a very small Phillips head screwdriver and tried pushing it and twisting head into it with zero effect, afraid going to tear something up.. could there be a rock wedged in there that tight to wear it wont move at all.. there is basically no hole there except for the 2 in. you can poke up into then its solid.

Remove the cowl, disconnect the hose that goes to pee hole. Should be right there. Still bet it's dirt Doberman nest.

you cannot get to the hose thru the cowl or at least I cant find it, only visible hoses are gas hoses, there's no hose leading to pee hole like on my mercury 50 hp 2 stroke as that's what I was going to originally do.

I just went back out took cowl off again for about the 20th time today and looked it over again, there's 2 fuel hoses above the pee hole one on top other on bottom on the engine block, reason I know they are fuel is took one loose and gas came running out. Looked down in bottom under fuel hoses and there is nothing, looked around by oil filter and there are no hoses coming from pee hole, nothing on other side either..I'm totally stumped as to its location but it sure isn't visible in engine compartment.

4th pic down is fuel lines directly above pee hole, other pics are below and off to the side of fuel lines.

That's a new one on me. Looks like you would have to remove those covers to get to it. If I'm seeing what I think I see. Assuming the spot on left is pee hole for water.
