    Ok, I looked up under that serial number. Now I see that thermstat. 2 questions, does that bypass line with check valve have water in it? #2 have you double checked everything on that water intake side, the hose the connector and water intake filter. It's starting to make me think you could be sucking air on the intake side and not getting enough water to the pump. To

    My biggest problem was getting the water pipe/line from the lower unit lined up. If it wasn't just right it would not seat properly. A slight bend or miss is easy to do cause you can't see the fitting. Of course, this was many years ago.

    I had a dirt dauber plug the pee hole up top, and also at the bottom in the water pickup in the bottom too.

    Well everyone... i am the self proclaimed most embarrassed person on this site. Look at these.
    What you see looks to be impeller coming up through the metal. Nope. That is melted plastic from the water pump body. When i added the new water pump i failed to notice that the metal raceway in the pumps bottom piece was missing. New one on the way. Still stumped with water pump
