Laugh if you will but we have actually used this stuff to get us out of a bind before. Duck hunting and jumping logs in the middle of the night to get back to duck holes we have jabbed more than a couple of holes in a buddy of mines boat. It has actually gotten us back to the truck more than once. But get it welded

Use soap! We were fishing on the Mississippi once & hit a rock that caused a big leak. Partner had a bar of Ivory soap that he forced into the crack—held the whole trip. However, got it welded the next day!

Welded or not, you still have to stop the crack. Th only thing I've ever seen is to drill a small hole just past the end of each crack and then repair. A GOOD welder will be able to do it right. If you see him blow a hole in it as he begins to weld, take it somewhere else.

X2! on the drill hole at the runner end point.
'Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:
The blind see and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed and deaf hear; dead are raised up and poor have the gospel preached to them.
And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me... Matthew 11:4-6
