    Default Pontoon Question

Not really a mechanical question, but any of you ever cleaned your pontoon logs? Ours aren't bad, but would like to keep them that way!! Any suggestions for what you use/works would be great. Really don't want to use anything that could potentially be harmful to the metal.

If your just wanting to clean scum off the Simply Awesome from dollar general works as good as anything I have used. Wet, spray on then let sit a few minutes. Then brush with soft auto brush and rinse real good. If it's bad I spray some on then mix some in bucket and brush down then rinse. Warning, it is a little caustic so careful around eyes.

Super Clean and a scotch btie pad will clean the scum off as well. If it is really bad Toonbrite but, be careful it is acid.
