Default Drilling Livewell - Waterproofing Question

Hey guys. I purchased a Power Bubbles that I want to install to my livewell. I plan to wire it to the Accessories switch on my console. I wanted to drill holes in the back of the livewell and water proof them. I want to do this to hide everything so it looks nice. My question is, what would you recommend to seal the holes with? My first thought were some plastic Grommets and silicone, but I was wondering if there was a better way someone else has used. Thanks in advance.

I think what I would do is drill a hole just slightly smaller than the outside diameter of the tubing. You can then cut the end of the tubing at an angle so that its is pointed and pull it through the hole. It will probably be a tight enough fit not to leak but if it does you can put silicone around it.

And if possible....drill the holes above the waterline.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Size: 40.2 KB Bulk head fittings,I've seen these with a rubber grommet that squeeze the wire as you tighten them making a water tight seal.

I used a rubber grommet on mine. Or you could do like Lowe rider said. Then get you a small tube of aquarium sealer at Walmart. It's non toxic like a lot of regular silicone. Put mine above waterline.
