Default Yamaha 60 2stroke carb kit

Took carbs off to clean. top two ok the bottom carb had the needle seized up in the hole. broke the needle and spring that connects to float getting it out. where is the best place to order a kit? or could i get the needle and spring only?

Boats.net is where I order all of my parts. Great prices also.

    Boats.net x2.
When you get a part number/name type it in online, see what comes up. Pay attention to the shipping rates.
Depending on the age of your engine, you might have to buy the kit.

Yes. I’ve ordered from there before. Just been a while. I went to one of the local shops. They didn’t think they had it was offering to order one when one of the mechanics came out and just gave me one. Win.

Well got the carbs back on. cranked nicely. Can’t make it pee 😡. So I’ll be pulling the foot off in morning and heading back to get an impeller. I bet I have to pay for this one. Yes I would have bought him a beer 🍺 or two.

To complete the story I did purchase the little plastic clip that connects the throttle to the oil pump about 6$. So I was not a total bum.

Make sure it is not a bad thermostat also. I am waiting on parts now myself. My Impeller was not really that bad so I decided to replace both the impeller and thermostat as it is a 1991 model and I don't think it was ever replaced. Just a heads up if your motor is still getting warm(hot) after the water pump replacement check the thermostat out.
Be safe and good luck fishing
