That's a heck of a way to do business.
I completely agree. That's crappy all the way around.

I just looked at the picture again. I know that photos can be decieving and it's not really possible to gain any depth perception in a 2D picture, BUT just how far do the bunks stop from the rear of the boat? Like I said, it's hard to see, but if it is how it looks then they stop 6-12" from the back of the boat????

IMO, If that's correct, the dealer is fixing the boat to cover their tail, because they sold you a trailer that's too short for your boat if the winch post indeed won't move forward any further. I'd demand another trailer if the bunks do stop that far from the end of the boat.

Somebody other than yourself is certainly at fault. I would pursue more aggressively before I gave up my warranty

If Lowe is involved you will find doing research on the net the are very poor company as far as anything to do with warranty. Lots of complaints out there about them.

Furflyin, the boat hangs over the bunks by 5 1/2 inches. Lowe says the bunk should exceed transom by 1 inch.

I am not complains about dealer. They have treated me very well for 10 years. My dealings with Triton and Lowe however are a different matter!

The bunks for my xpress stick out about 1 1/2-2 inches past my boat!

Thank you Slabprowler. When I get my boat back I intend to redo bunks to that distance!
