Default 115 hp 2 stroke or 90 hp 4 stroke.....

    I'm considering swapping motors, I have a 115hp 2 stroke on my 18' aluminum boat, and a 90 hp 4 stroke on my 23 ' pontoon boat.
like the idea of the 4 stroke on my fishing rig but can't decide which motor is best. Both are mercury motors and it will be an easy change, just don't know if it's worth it in the long run.
    any advice?

Depends on how much you run each one. I can see advantages and disadvantages. If you just cruise in the toon and and tube I would probably leave it like it is for the fuel economy. I can see a prop change on both to get them dialed in if you change. If you used big motor to troll in fishing boat then 4 stroke would be better. I just don't see where you would gain a lot from swapping.

You may also want to look at the engine harness connectors. Having to swap out the control boxes may make it a no brainer in weighing your options.
    I'd rather be fishing.
