Couple of questions that might help.
What speed you running when it happens?
Anything different going on when it happens moving pedal, rough water?
    How often does it happen?
Are you running it on Autopilot when it happens?

What size breaker you have? Should be at least a 50 amp but actually calls for a 60. Does it have Ipilot? Could be losing GPS signal.

Hello: My buddy had a similar problem. We found a loose wire on the plug-in connection. When you are running the trolling motor wiggle and shake the cord and plug and see if it shuts off on you. Hopefully it will be an easy fix. Good Luck. O - R
