Most trailer hitches today are made model specific. You can install it yourself with a couple of wrenches. Probably 4 bolts at most.
I just spoke with the dealership. They said it should be find to pull a jon boat. That's roughly 500 lbs. It has the ability to carry 1000 lbs. I'm looking at a trailer hitch and how much it would cost to get that put on. I don't have a torch wrench.
The car is front wheel drive, which is good.

I would also watch craigslist as some great deals pop up pretty regular on small jons and utility v's.
Went to U haul for my hitch on my 2009 VW TDI(diesel) jetta sportwagen , if I remember right it was like $350 for hitch, install and the wiring,,, car has a 1000# tow rating ,,,,,,, tow a fully rigged 1548 G3 vbw with a 25hp etec on a aluminum trailer built by myself,,,,pull 250 miles one way out to the river through the 110* Mojave Desert up and down 3k ft hills running 65 mph,,,,,, have had zero problems stopping or going after 10 er so trips,,,,but for the most part leave the boat in AZ where its 5 mi to the ramp,,,,, kinda kills the mileage, 30 mpg as compared to 42
