I have just received a Sears Ted Williams 7.5 hp motor. Sometimes it will run sometimes it won't. Appears to be no spark. Does it need a new magneto? Looking for help. Also does anyone know where parts can be gotten for it?

prop chart in the first post isn't showing up. Does anyone have it?
    Thanks in advance.
I have a 1999 tracker grizzly 1648 with a Yamaha P40 (40HP), The prop is apparently bent and needs to be replaced. I just can't figure out what I need to get. The original prop doesn't appear to have any markings to indicate what it is.
    Thanks in advance.

find a prop shop in your area and have them straighten it for you. They also could probably tell you what size and pitch it is. Local Marine repair places probably know of 1 or 2 if you can't locate one in the phone book

Check your RPM. You want to be within the top 200 rpm of your motors optimal operating zone. You'll gain 200-400rpm by going to a smaller pitch prop, and lose 200-400 by going to a bigger pitch prop. If you are already near your max rpm, you can go up a prop pitch or two (14-15p) and will gain more top end speed but lose some holeshot speed.

Going to the fx4 (4 blade) prop will help you keep your holeshot up while going to a bigger pitch prop for more speed. It will also give you more stern lift if you have batteries or a lot of weight in the back.

You cant really choose a prop without noting your current RPM when WOT and fully trimmed though. Yamaha offers a prop selection tool on their website that you may find helpful. http://www.yamahapropselector.com/
