I carry a plastic box in the back of my truck under the bed cover. In this box I have a spare hub,pre greased, wrapped in shop towels, and vacuum wrapped,to keep it clean and dry. Also in this box is outboard oil, scissor jack block of a 2x4,and a 4-way lug wrench.Tools to do the job are in their own tool box.

FYI,, Wheel bearings are hard to buy at the local auto parts store,,,,,BUT if you know the true part numbers it's a snap.
Most all 3500lb. axles use the same bearings and seals,Hear is what to ask for.
    NAPA #s SET#4
NAPA #s SET#17 for the bearings
National seal#473336,,This is the proper double lip seal
Any part counter key puncher can cross reference these numbers

Hey y’all. Have a question. The reverse light I have circled for a 2003 Ranger Trailer is 2” and has threads on the backside
I have hunted and searched all over talked to Ranger today and they don’t make that anymore and didn’t give any advice for a replacement, it’s for the reverse

Has anyone had to upgrade or replace these lights on each fender. If so or any ideas for some type of bright reverse
    Thank you in advance

Scrapper, great resource you've put together. Let me add a wrinkle. What about Ranger Trail hubs? I guess they're some kind of special "no maintenance" hubs? I've seen lots of conflicting info.

I believe most ranger rigs use vortex hubs. It has been my experience that the o-ring goes and the grease starts to leak out, and in turn the water leaks in. We run conventional dexter ez lube style hubs but tear em down every year. On the water minimum 80 days.
