OK, I will re-post. Some one ask If you can catch snake head in winter, and this was my reply.---------I caught one about three weeks ago on a minnow under a bobber in three feet of water at the Federalsburg Marina. I have caught six of them at the marina and fishing the creek. And all were by-catch while fishing for bass or crappie. Most, and maybe all were caught in cool. or cold weather. Just lucky catches. WOW! Nice one Don. I heard the DNR don't want you to release them, so I give mine to people in town that want them. Don, what body of water did you catch the snake head ? What state?

That is what I said. They don't want you to release them. I give them to my friends.
