I had an 8' pro xl on a 21' Xpress bay boat. Worked real good for shallow water. The sportsman models have a slower, noisier pump, but should work fine otherwise.
any guys or gals use the power pole anchor system? if so what model like to here your opionion on it, i can see were i could use it especialy shooting docks, nothing worse then fighting the wind while trying to shoot docks, thinking of getting one just curious about the sportsmen models compared to the pro xl,huge difference in price

I wish I had one.
You can easily make a redneck powerpole with a c-clamp and a length of pvc pipe.

Power pole is great for shallow water. Mostly used in salt water. If you fish water that shallow go for it. Great for red fishing on the flats. To confirm they are worth the money.
i use 2 of the 8' pro xl for bass tour. and i love them started out with one and had sum trouble in the wind when i try to stay on a bed then i put the second one on and its great
lol canepole, that viagra will keep you rolling out of bed too want it.:p
when you use two can you use same pump or you need 2 seperate pumps,, id imagine both on back
I have been considering one for my pontoon boat. We have a sand beach where we beach it every weekend in the summer. It sure gets anoying having to crank the motor every hour or so and straighten the boat back up. Seems no matter how hard I beach the boat it works loose. There is to much foot traffic in the front of the boat to tie off to anything. What do yall think?
