    I would recommend Paul's bait &tackle in ST. Louis. They repair both rods and reels.

    my local repair guy gets 8$ per winding. I did mine myself and got it functional, but pretty it ain't. Mine had 11 eyes, $88 plus parts. Will replace with new next time.
