    Default Trolling Crankbaits?

I am a die hard jig puller (longliner) and ocassionaly I tightline when it is needed. I have been trying to learn a little about trolling crankbaits. Here on Lake Murray SC not many people do crankbait trolling for crappie so it is hard to pick up info on it. What baits are recommended, where to troll, speed, when is the best time, etc. Any info would be appreciated!

I've been trolling crankbaits for over 30 years and beleive me when I say Steve J has directed you to a great article on the basics of trolling crankbaits.....take the basics and modify them to fit your specific area and fishing style.......Have patience because nothing..... and I mean nothing.....takes the place of experimentation and time on the water.
Meet a resonable man halfway everytime....don't meet an unresonable man at all.
