If you are catching white Crappie they work OK but the blacks in our area are too fat to go all the way down in. I like the Fish Taco, it's easy to put the fish in and hold on to and easy to get the fish out. Just My opinion.
    Good fishing.

the new grip and check hasn't let the bottom 1/2 inch in to check for the 12" fish required at Sardis lake, i've had to check against the outside back of checker for marginal fish. shoulder girth of white and i suppose black crappie to big on 11 1/2" fish
had plenty this year that wouldn't go all the way into either checker well enough and a 50 cent ruler at walmart would do better. they both work great on 10" fish so i suppose it matters the size limit required where u fish.

I have had my fish taco for a while now and it works great on the crappie and sand bass. Of course it is always better when you are catching fish that do not have to be measured to see if they are the minimum limit. It seems to work fine on all I have to measure for minimums. Here is a pic of the taco I have been using.

    Thank you sir.

If you ever over my way, give a shout. I will treat you to lunch or fishing or both.

I might not wear the fishes out, but I can wear your ears out. ASK ANYBODY.

See folks, this is why I still believe in Santa Claus. See what I mean here Chris (Cohutta Crappie).
