Default Home made crappie pole holders

I made a pole holder rack for my boat this morning from an old mailbox post, a trolling motor clamp and some other scrap. I already had the Driftmaster rod holders. It's solid as a rock and goes on or comes off in just a few seconds, and I didn't even have to drill any holes in the boat. What do you think?

I would almost accuse you of being a redneck. That is a wonderful looking set up and you recycled on top of it too.

Crappie fishermen can come up with some ways around buying things. If we would put all the knowledge together on the site we all could be rich! Good looking set up.

    Looks good.

I would put something like a piece of carpet or small rubber strip under the "S" bracket so it will not squeek or rub a hole in your boat.

Hey Grumpy, you are as good at rigging your boat as "Grumy Jenkins" was at drag racing. Looks great.
