    Default Scouting Trip

Jerry, Clay (marina owner) and I went out today for a few hours to check a few spots. The crappie were a little slow but we did get into a small school of bass. The biggest crappie went 2lbs. and the biggest bass was 3lbs7oz. No wind but heavy overcast sky and a misty rain (Jerry calls it a heavy dew, lol).

Clay was "Fish Hawngry"! His mom REALLY likes fish too! When the bass are schooling on shad it's real hard to ignore them and they are a lot of fun on light tackle.
