Hi, David. I've read your posts with interest. I'll email you about your guide service. I'd like to learn more about these lakes.

I took the boat out for a couple of hours to get use to it. It seems to run fine, but it's old and a little beat up and certainly not very pretty. This fall I'll either trade it in or spend some time fixing it up.

I had a problem putting in on Wilson, though. I used the ramp by Shoals Creek at the Shoals Creek Bridge. Wilson is a little low right now and I had to back the trailer down further than I normally would. Well, I found a hole at the end of the ramp that the wheels fell into. Like to never got it out.

Where do you put in on Wilson?

    Bill

Have you started to teach that grandbaby how to catch crappie yet? I'm waiting on an eighteen month old girl I think will make a good crappie fisher if I could teach her! Wouldn't hurt to spoil her just a little, either. After all, that's what grandparents do!! :D lol!! Happy Easter, hope you and family have a good one.......
My grandson Joshua is three now and he caught his first fish, a little striper, off the public tie up docks at our local marina two weeks ago. When he reeled it in and saw the 7" striper flipping around on the end of his line he got excited. He jumped up and ran down the dock telling all that could hear that he caught a big un.

He's a natural! Some things just make a granddad proud. He's already learned to exagerate! :p
