My Mom slipped and broke a hip on Mother's Day 3 years ago. Not a fun recovery, but she pulled it off. I think the older they get, the tougher they are...like old boots.

I'll keep your mom and your family in my prayers tonight and ask for the smoothest recovery possible.

She looked better today. More color and we watched amazing race together on my laptop. Awesome hospital and people. They should all be so good. Her new pain meds - Oxy something - don't make her as sleepy, but make her slur her speech more. Can't wait till she can get off that junk.
