    Default Family's First Fishing Trip

Saturday, I had the opportunity to take this family on their first fishing trip. They were a quick study and handled the long poles well. The crappie (as well as some other species) cooperated with us too. The big crappie for the day went 16" and weighed 2lb.2oz. She was putting on eggs and had some of the thickest fillets. Everything was a new experience for them - first fish catch, first time lipping a fish, first time learning how to bait your hook, etc. They were very curious about everything. It was a good time.

Way to go, it's nice to introduce someone or a entire family to the sport. Congratulations

I bet that was fun for you. What an experience to be able to open an entire families eyes to this sport. Good job.

    Darryl,

That looks great! You had a nice variety of fish there. I'm sure it's a trip they won't forget.
Somehow, I suspect they'll be back

Boy it looks like they had a blast! Nothing like introducing somebody to the great sport of fishing or in your case Darryl "Catching"!
