nothing wrong with stick steering, mine has a wheel, but it mounted side ways and uses the cables and pulleys...I'm pround of it because it is what I have..It only has a 25 horse evinrude on it but I got a heck of a deal...I probally have less money in my boat than some do in rod and reels...lol..I know several guys have more in depth finders than I have in my boat....

I can remember fishing out of a 16 foot boat with a 40 horse motor. I caught a lot of fish out of that old boat. The fish don't care what kind of boat you have. Now I have one of those big fancy boats and wear the logo shirts. The fancy shirts don't help me catch more fish, but because of sponsors they sure do help with the expense of fishing. And you will find that most all of the people that wear the fancy shirts with all the logo's on them really do use those products. I know that I do. I do not take a sponsorship unless I use and beleive in the products. And most every one else feels the same way.
    My 2 cents worth.
Have a crappie day!:D [email protected]

    Default Big trucks

You may be surprised to find out that alot of these trucks at the classic was borrowed. Most anglers there drove hundreds of miles to get there and back, and using a bigger truck is easier and better to tow a good-sized boat at a distance than a smaller one. Never know how steep a ramp is on some lakes too. I won't say if it helps cut down on gas.....

Last fall, I was putting in my 16' deep and wide jon with the ole' 25 hp evinrude. Two fellas in a big glitter boat with a 200 hp pusher on the end, starting making fun of my boat and motor. Saying that ole Evinrude won't start, well she started on the first crank as always and I went about my business. I had a good day, catching 24 or 25 nice slabs. Well, I got back to the ramp and guess who was there but the pretty boys with the forty thousand dollar boat. I asked them did y'all boys have any luck, and they replied they had caught only three or four with no keepers. Well, as the old saying goes, "What goes around comes around", I laid it on thick showing them what fish look like and that my old paid for boat was going to feed my family for the weekend. To add salt to the wound, I informed them Kroger had fish if they were hungry for some. Some never learn!

    Default Country Boys

Randy and Jerry live just down the road and have a day job like most other folks. Thay have devoted a lot of years to being floating dock shooters and they are extremely good at it. They are Lindy jig reps and they fish what they represent. Their shirts may match at weign in. I would bet they wore something else on the water. Just down home folks.

I wish I had one of them there sponsers...I would have every inch oF Cedar creek recorded by now.I fish everyday and it is tough.I do have a couple products that I would back if someone cared what I thought.

Really hate we missed Santee this year.Water so low and money too did prevent us from being there, but I am sure it was a great time.
